Many filtration units on the market today use one or two filters. Some use black lights and other more advanced units use Reversed Osmosis. The PW1R uses multiple patented technologies and no other purification unit in existence is able to match this water quality. It is the most advanced technology in water refinement using a 6 Stage filtration process to produce laboratory grade water. Below is a brief description of this process and the sixth filter is an intake air filter for the activated oxygen injection.
- Stage One ~ Contaminated water enters a 10 Micron filter. The purpose of this first stage is to remove large contaminants such as rust, scale and dirt.
- Stage Two ~ Is a Solid Carbon Block that removes Organic Compounds such as Chlorine, Chemicals and Solvents. This solid filter is much more advanced than Carbon Particle Filters in that it doesn't "channel" and let the contaminants flow through it.
- Stage Three ~ Is an 80 Gallon Per Day Capacity Reverse Osmosis Membrane. It removes Inorganic Pollutants such as Lead, Mercury, Arsenic and Hard Minerals.
- Stage Four ~ Is a 1 Micron Solid Carbon Block that provides a "polish" to the water. This filter keeps water in the tank fresh and crisp.
- Stage Five ~ (not shown) Is a Pre-Filter for Stage 6 being an air filter that purifies incoming air to be used in the Activated Oxygen Injection process.
- Stage Six ~ Using Activated Oxygen (much like the way lightning purifies our atmosphere) pure oxygen is injected into the water holding tank at computer controlled intervals. This patented technology increased the oxygen content 121% over bottled water coolers or distilled water. It also "sterilizes" this self contained unit by killing bacteria, viruses, parasites and other microbiological contamination.
No other unit is self sterilizing and oxygen activated. You will taste this difference. Water should have no taste or aftertaste but it should have body. The exact reason most of us do not drink distilled water. It is flat. Dull, as water goes flat in 20 minutes when open and about 2 days when sealed.
